KILL ME - The Concept

KILL ME is a short film with intentions of becoming a feature length movie.

Although there are certain strong themes and hopes coursing through this story, the main intent is to entertain with a mature, funny and poignant movie.  While the story itself weaves strong themes of family, love and religion throughout the plot, the main attraction is the central character, Abuela. KILL ME is her story.

Damon Silvester (writer/director) and Vinay Chand (producer) seek to grasp a wide audience with a story that contains unconventionally charismatic characters and interesting plot twists while throwing in a bit of fun.  By utilizing these elements in unison with one another, a very unique and compelling story is born.

For an example of this recipe, please see the award-winning short film "Aroma" (below) written and directed by Damon Silvester (duration: 3 mins)

Damon and Vinay are utilizing this unique story to further their directing and producing pursuits. Once the film is completed,  it will be shown in festivals and to production companies and agents which will launch the feature version.

The road is long and difficult, but perseverance, talent and positive attitudes will prevail.

Thank you for taking the journey with us.
